I'm brand new to sewing (I just started yesterday) and I can't sew a straight line to save my life. Help!

You aren’t supposed to be able to sew a straight line!
You just started! No one is awesome at something right off the bat. It takes time.
This is totally normal.
Say it with me: “I will be kind to myself and I will get better with practice! I’t’s ok that my lines aren’t straight yet, but they will be.”
